Preparation Begins for Tyee iBook Trailer

Tyee members Zara Mcalister, Nida Siddiqui and Doris Wang are responsible for preparing the trailer for the iBook their group is putting together. It is a one-minute preview about the series of articles in the iBook, which are about local farming and production. It will include pictures, comments from the writers and clips from the director speaking about the inspiration for the series.
This week the ladies, along with Nanette Van Doorn, had to choose a theme song that will be used for the trailer, as well as the introduction for the audio interviews Nanette will be doing with the writers of the series. They decided to go with ‘Tokyo Lights’ by Epic Soul Factory, which they found on CreativeCommons.org. After choosing the song, the ladies then recorded the song in the Western Journalism radio studio so that they can have it on file when they put the trailer and interviews together.
